Between 11 and 13 October 2019, Vice-Rector Sen. Lect. Hortensiu-Liviu Cucu, PhD, Eng. and Assistant Ileana Maria Pop, PhD, Eng. represented TUCN in the “Vietnam Global Educational Fairs” held in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. TUCN participated together with 16 other universities from Romania, under the “Study in Romania” program.
In the “Vietnam Global Educational Fairs”, TUCN was present with informative materials regarding the educational programs of all its 12 faculties at bachelor’s master’s and doctoral level, as well as with promotional materials, in the Romanian stand, at all exhibition events held in the cities of Ho Chi Minh City (October 11 and 12, 2019) and Hanoi (October 13, 2019).
During direct meetings with potential future TUCN students from Vietnam, the comprehensive discussions were related to:
- which are the conditions to be accepted as a bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral student
- bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degree programs;
- the calendar of registration activities;
- how to obtain the status of a scholarship student from the Romanian State;
- Location and facilities of TUCN accommodation units;
- the academic, economic and cultural life of Cluj and the opportunities offered to students.
